A vintage floral dress in the window of a shop at midnight
That sweet moment of anticipation as the lights dim on Broadway
A Mosaic daybed in a boutique hotel
Exotic journeys to far flung destinations across the globe
Endless summer days filled with sand between your toes
Surf the color of Blueberries and Surreal colors that make your soul sing
Rainbow colored ice cream in speckled patterns on a child’s face…

My Experience
Always fortunate to revel in two passions – Designing and Acting! Industrious from the start; I began designing jewelry, selling it on the beaches of the Jersey Shore at the tender age of 13 all the while enjoying a career as an actor on Broadway and TV. Continued both careers while in college and all throughout the 1990’s. Educated at FIT where I earned an Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising and buying followed by a Bachelors in Marketing and distribution. Life was filled with adventure and non-stop surprises living and learning with NYC as my college campus.

During the 1990’s my “day job” was designing accessories. I began with my own company,
i-wear by Alixx. We were later purchased by a larger company in the late 1990’s. From that point on I enjoyed many prestigious posts as design director for accessories at HYP hats, World Wide Dreams and Bebe.

Growing from each new experience, whether it was supervising a team of  designers, shopping little known bazaars in England or working with the factories in China, each experience has led me to find new love and direction!

As you may have noticed I do wear many hats – ghost designer, design consultant, accessory host, and I am currently in the process of beginning my own Alixx Schottland lifestyle brand.
